The Avocado Zest is delicious. It has a fresh, lemon taste.  I drizzle it on my salads. I recommend it to anyone who wants a high quality oil with a hint of citrus for salads and fish.

Olivado Lavender Loaf

2 2/3 cups all-purpose flour
1 1/2 tsp baking soda
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 cup Olivado Macadamia Nut oil
1 3/4 cups white sugar
3 eggs
1 1/2 cups mashed avocado (approx 3 large Haas avocados)
2 Tbsp fresh lemon juice
3/4 cup milk
1 3/4 cups dried organic lavender
1 Tbsp grated lemon zest

Methods/steps

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 C), grease and flour 2 9x5 inch loaf pans.

Combine dry ingredients in bowl, set aside.

Beat sugar and Macadamia nut oil until combined add room temperature eggs, avocado, lemon juice, and mix until smooth, add flour mixture alternately with milk until just incorporated. Add lavender and lemon zest. Once combined pour batter into prepared pans, bake for one hour, or until loaf springs back when pushed. Cool for 10 minutes before removing. Cool before serving.
