The Avocado Zest is delicious. It has a fresh, lemon taste.  I drizzle it on my salads. I recommend it to anyone who wants a high quality oil with a hint of citrus for salads and fish.

Wishing You a Delicious and Happy Easter

Regardless of whether or not you celebrate the true meaning of Easter, it is one of those holidays that everyone enjoys. It signifies the welcoming of spring, the chocolate covered giggles of little boys and girls and family and friends gathering for home cooked meals. It is an opportunity to create childhood memories and family tradition. At Olivado we are committed to providing healthy recipe ideas that your entire family will enjoy and do not require a culinary degree to execute.

Easter Brunch!
Here are three great new recipe ideas that will be a great addition to any Easter egg hunt.

Lace Pancakes
1 3/4 cups all purpose flour
2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp vanilla
1 tbsp sugar
pinch salt
2 eggs
1 1/4 cups milk or buttermilk
1/4 cup Macademia Nut Oil
food colouring (optional)

Whisk ingredients thoroughly but quickly, pour pancake batter into a food grade squeeze bottle. Heat a non stick skillet over medium heat and give it a quick spray or wipe of oil so your pancakes don’t stick. Use the squeeze bottle make distribute the batter in loops and swirls and cook until bubbles form, flip and cook for 20 seconds and remove. You can make hearts, easter eggs, flowers or write words; have fun!
